As part of the Account Executive team for World Kinect Corporation, you will manage the execution of strategy to identify, develop, and pursue business opportunities through the profitable sale of Renewable Energy solutions (PPAs, EACs, Carbon Offsets, Electricity, On-Site Solar, Net Zero advisory services, client services) to large commercial & industrial clients throughout North America of which many target customers will be your country National Accounts as well as part of Global Corporations based in North America with multiple European/Global sites.

The Account Executive will work with Subject Matter Experts, Client Managers and Marketing to support the commercial activities across all Sustainability solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifies and implements initiatives necessary to achieve sales objectives, including GP/sales volume and increased positive bottom-line results.
  • Drives strategies and tactics for key accounts (existing and prospects).
  • Provides/coordinates support for proposal preparations and contract negotiations for complex commercial/professional transactions.
  • Manages margins through continuous review of market conditions and competitive landscape.
  • Responsible for individual sales and goals.
  • Prospect and identify new leads and opportunities.
  • Document activities in Salesforce CRM
  • Achieve sales goals.
  • Lead on-site and off-site sales presentations to potential large C&I customers.
  • Direct all stages of sales process and account ownership.
  • Anticipate market needs and propose alternative solutions when necessary.
  • Seek and Share knowledge of industry trends, competitors, etc.
  • Provide weekly sales projections and status updates (excellent pipeline management).
  • Market Development - Identify new Energy/Sustainability customer growth opportunities.
  • Attend relevant industry conferences to build customer base and market intelligence.
  • Performs other related duties, tasks, requests, and directives issued from leaders as required.

Requirements, Competencies and Certifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Working knowledge of competitive markets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact internally and externally with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Exceptional work ethic.
  • Passion for everything around Renewable Energy & Corporate Net Zero options
  • Partnering with Subject Matter Experts whilst you own and build the client relationship.
  • Listening to our clients Energy/Sustainability needs and filling the gap.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree (ideally in Engineering, Economics/Business or Sustainability) , and/or must have client-facing sales experience (with proven track record to Large Commercial & Industrial companies)
  • Ideally, 5+ years of relevant Renewable Energy and/or Sustainability SALES experience
  • Sales consultancy experience with high level/high value decision makers will also be a key advantage.
  • We encourage partly office based working to build company culture, client visits and remote working.
  • Ideally has the experience in the identification, evaluation, and pursuit of renewable energy opportunities.
