We are looking for a visionary Brand Manager to lead our frontier product's brand strategy, enhancing brand awareness and user acquisition. This role is central to our marketing strategy, focusing on maintaining product consistency and innovating brand presence in the market.
Setapp is MacPaw's subscription-based app service for macOS and iOS. It provides access to 240+ Mac and iOS apps for daily tasks that cover such categories as productivity, lifestyle, web development, Mac maintenance, creativity, writing, education, and personal finance.
In this role, you will:

  • Craft and execute a strategic plan to enhance Setapp's brand awareness and product recognition across key markets
  • Develop and lead targeted brand campaigns based on in-depth market, industry, and audience research
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels, true to our core values. Continuously refine our branding strategies and processes
  • Develop a clear product positioning framework to ensure consistent messaging across all channels
  • Collaborate closely with both internal teams and external agencies to leverage product performance indicators and ensure consistent communication across all channels
  • Measure and report the performance of all marketing and brand metrics
  • Analyze branding processes and strategies for ongoing enhancement and maintain a clear product positioning guide
  • Direct a team of marketing specialists and manage collaborations with external partners to ensure effective campaign execution


Skills you'll need to bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in brand management, preferably in the tech industry
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to manage extensive marketing and brand campaigns
  • Strong leadership capabilities and proficiency in collaborating with diverse teams


This full-time position requires a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours. Occasional after-hours work may be necessary. The role is based in our Boston office, where your presence is required at least three days a week.
