With an expansive mandate to operate across the continent, this multidisciplinary initiative aims to create resilient, equitable, and prosperous societies underpinned by strong democratic institutions. The Asia Futures activity is structured around four primary objectives, to be implemented in collaboration with the private sector, governments, and civil society: (1) Address emerging development challenges in key countries and subregions as a result of Asia’s increasingly competitive strategic environment. • Advance the objectives of the activity through strong technical leadership, adaptive management, and expertise in the development and implementation of Asia Futures strategies.
  • Serve as Asia Futures’ primary point of contact with USAID Missions, Bureaus, and Operating Units (M/B/OUs) regarding all technical and programmatic matters, including initial engagement for buy-ins.
  • Provide managerial and technical support to the COP, assisting in areas including work planning, performance management, and strategic communications to influence program management at all operational levels.
  • Oversee planning, coordination, and day-to-day implementation of technical activities in partnership with technical team members and the COP.

  • Oversee monitoring and evaluation (M&E) performance reporting to ensure alignment with client and activity objectives.
  • Work with the COP to incentivize and increase the level of USAID engagement in the Asia Futures activity.
