JOB SUMMARY: This position is in the Office of Air and Radiation (OAR), Office of Program Management Operations, Budget Formulation. About OAR: OAR Website This is an office-centered position--you must physically report to the duty station stated in this announcement on a regular basis. MAJOR DUTIES: You will: Lead the development of Office of Air and Radiation's Annual Performance Report to improve air quality. Manage and coordinate development of OAR's National Program Manager (NPM) Guidance and the OAR State-EPA priority setting process. Provide expert advice and recommendations to OAR management and staff, other EPA offices, and external stakeholders on issues related to planning, performance, and environmental indicators. Serve as the lead analyst for audits originating from EPA's Office of Inspector General and from the General Accountability Office (GAO). When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses. NOTE: Career ladder promotions are not automatic, and all eligibility and qualifications requirements must be met in order to progress to the next grade level.
