HSBC Global Trade Solutions (GTS) serves as a core service provider for Commercial (CMB) and Global Banking (GB) customers. Reporting to the US Head of International Subsidiary Banking (ISB) and Global Banking Multinationals (GB MNC) for Global Trade Solutions (GTS), the role is responsible for collaborating with Coverage bankers on new originations and managing client relationships in the ISB / GB MNC  sector.

As our Assistant Vice President Sales Manager for ISB and GB MNC you will:

  • Cover clients pro-actively through a content led, high impact strategy
  • Originate and structure the end-to-end transaction, ensuring necessary collaboration with colleagues across Coverage, Capital Management, Credit, Legal, Distribution, Credit Risk, etc
  • Ensure origination and scaling up of profitable business with focus on balance sheet velocity
  • Work with Product Management to ensure HSBC Global Trade Solutions (GTS) delivers client needs by collaborating across Fintech and 3rd party providers to deliver a best-in-class solution

    For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $95,000.00 and $135,000.00


    The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

    You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

    • Strong communication and presentation skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team
    • Strong understanding of open account solutions including supply chain and receivables finance,
    • Comprehensive understanding of Core Trade Solutions
    • Strong Credit knowledge
    • Good understanding of Fintech platforms and market solutions
    • Solid credit analytical skills and ability to demonstrate clear rationale-based thinking
    • Be able to manage deal execution, including legal documentation negotiations, necessary approvals, and timelines
    • Excellent time management, planning and organization skills
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related fields (Master’s preferred),
