Daikin Applied is seeking a Leave of Absence (LOA) Administrator for a contract position As our primary LOA administrator, he or she will administer and maintain company LOA benefit programs. In addition, this individual will function as a liaison between our LOA vendors and employees and advises employees on eligibility, coverage, and other benefit matters. Location: Hybrid OR Remote - Based in Plymouth, MN
Duration: Expected through June 2025
Eligible for conversion to full time: Yes
What you will do:
- Partner closely with HR Representatives on all related Leave of Absence cases/claims, managing STD/LTD programs and vendor relationships and ensuring that claims are coordinated with the appropriate related leaves
- Provide technical knowledge of how the various benefits plans are structured, and answer more complex questions on benefit programs
- Maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory guidelines relative to employee benefit plans
- Maintaining, updating, and delivering compliant plan documents and SPD's
- Work with human resources to resolve any differences on the benefit reports and communicate any necessary adjustments
- Maintain vendor contact to investigate discrepancies and provide information in non-routine situations
- Provide vendors with appropriate documentation for benefits claims

Minimum Qualifications:
- Work visa sponsorship is not offered for this position
- 2 Year Associate's Degree or above in business, HR, or related field
- 2+ Years of general benefits administration experience
- 1+ Year of LOA adminsitration experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with New York Life LOA programs
