Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will support multiple Flights and will be on-site at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). The candidate will collaborate with military personnel and other contractors when designing and executing software development projects. 

 

Develop software code to model human decision-making and actionsPlan, oversee, and foster a portfolio of projects supporting Modeling and Simulation Collaborate and work across teams to develop concepts that advance the entire projectCommunicate highly technical problems and solutions at all levelsAbility to turn qualitative insights into technical research efforts

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a programmer and/or modelerAlgorithm design and implementation within C/C++,MATLAB, Python, or Java A basic understanding of aerospace system functions and dynamicsGood analytic skills and the ability to apply these skills in a multi-tasking environment where more than one project may require his/her participation at a given time

 Highly Desired Qualifications: 

Strong in verbal and written communicationsCreating and briefing Government personnel on the results from scenarios and/or experimentsBasic understanding of AI/ML developments and emerging AI-related technologiesFamiliarity with common Modeling and Simulation tools and frameworkssuch as:Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration & Modeling (AFSIM) Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment (ITASE)Joint Simulation Environment (JSE)

 Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering)

 Clearance Requirements:

Top Secret with SCI eligibility.U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
