As a Senior Accountant of Brevo, you will:

  • Manage month-end close activities, including revenue and accrual entries
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors
  • Complete monthly Bank Reconciliations
  • Process travel and entertainment expense entries
  • Assist with cash collection and recording of accounts receivable for US customers
  • Oversee yearly, quarterly, and monthly tax returns for the US and Canada with assistance from the external CPA
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage US Sales Tax through Avalara and Chargebee (billing system)
  • Set up fixed assets and complete reconciliations
  • Be the finance support for the Customer Experience team for the US billing entity
  • Assist with general business compliance such as yearly business licenses, franchise tax fillings, etc.
  • Answer all employees’ inquiries relating to finance and accounting via Slack
  • Submit monthly IRA and RRSP contributions

What will contribute to your success:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft suite and basic Excel functions
  • Experience In using Netsuite, Notion, and Wrike software is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong ethical standards, professionalism, and a positive attitude
