Business Insights Analyst

Franklin, TN

Hybrid (2-3 days a week)

This Business Insights Analyst position is focused on enhancing our team's expertise in the pet food marketplace. The position involves close collaboration with our Insights and Marketing Team to realize our vision for comprehensive data coverage. Key responsibilities include monitoring trends in Market Themes, analyzing In-Market Sales Performance, conducting Competitor Analysis, optimizing product offerings, and benchmarking innovation efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to translate data into strategic insights that are easily understood and impactful for end users. This role presents an excellent opportunity to deepen knowledge within the CPG industry and contribute to our brands' competitive edge in new and more efficient ways.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, Marketing, Mathematics, eCommerce or other relevant areas.
  • 1+ years of professional experience or internship experience in sales or analytics.
  • Proficiency in data preparation and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, etc., to derive actionable business insights.
  • Strong technical skills in Excel and similar programs for data manipulation, extraction, and analysis.
  • Preferred experience with data programming languages such as SQL, Python, or similar

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Develop deep expertise in the pet food market to support the Insights and Marketing teams.
  • Leverage multiple data sources, including Nielsen, Data Impact, Stackline, SimilarWeb, and others, to create a comprehensive view of the market.
  • Craft clear and concise summaries of data trends and effectively communicate these insights to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to shaping the vision for the online business, with a focus on brand strategy and enhancing data capabilities.
  • Manage and maintain recurring market reports for the Insights and Marketing teams
