Key Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Offer Manager acts like an owner in helping to manage the sales growth and profitability of the product basket by developing and executing (in collaboration with the sales and channel organization in the US, and Global line of business) a clearly defined marketing strategy and tactics that supports business growth and enhances brand awareness.
  • Execution of the product basket strategy and tactics following the 4P's of Marketing elements for successfully positioning the market offer:
  • Product definition around its value, features, competition, etc.
  • Pricing definition by devising the right pricing strategy.
  • Place by defining the go to market strategy.
  • The promotion of the product by defining the communication about the product.
  • Execute and manage marketing content and sales enablement for delivery to sales, customer, and channels
  • Analyze product profitability and sales success to ensure the health of the product offering according to industry business strategy
  • Develop market launch plans for assigned products
  • Support Enable & collaborate with channel and sales events, customer & distributor visits, and webinars
  • The owner of commercial forecasting.
  • Anticipate future needs & new product specifications by Identifying, rationalizing, and documenting Voice of Customer to new product specifications
  • Collaborate with and guide work with Offer Manager to ensure availability and quality of the product.

Qualifications - External

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business. An MBA is an asset.

Experience
  • 10+ years in Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, or Sales in the Industrial Automation industry
  • Competency in IIoT, cyber security, and software is highly desirable
  • Domain knowledge of PLC, PAC, and HMI offers is highly preferred
  • Experience in inside or outside sales and/or marketing experience in industrial automation industry or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with modern marketing tactics preferred - social tools, CRM, marketing automation, campaign development, etc.

  • Ability to conduct business IT/OT process discussions organizations across multiple domains at senior levels in the customer's organization.
  • Able to be flexible to meet time zone challenges, and work with global colleagues
