Essential Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills):

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably within the electrical field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Expertise in interpreting construction documents, product manuals, and control schematics.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and positive mindset.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork.
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar software.
  • Familiarity with UL, NEC, and NFPA 79 standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review construction drawings and address any issues promptly to prevent delays.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organization for effective project management.
  • Identify and manage long lead materials.
  • Generate and validate Bill of Materials (BoM) for communication components.
  • Design electrical circuits for various applications in compliance with industry standards.
  • Assess electrical components and drawings.
  • Work on electrical/control systems per construction documentation and product specifications.
  • Optimize manufacturing processes for cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines in the ERP system.
  • Create engineering drawings based on technical specifications.
  • Adaptability to a 40-hour work week with additional hours as necessary.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Involvement in handling materials weighing approximately 40 lbs.
  • Primarily an office-based role with occasional visits to manufacturing facilities.
