Our client in the construction services industry is looking to bring on a full time HR Coordinator. This person is responsible for providing efficient administrative and secretarial support to the HR department. The Coordinator ensures HR plans are administered in compliance with federal and state regulations, and that all provisions are properly followed.

This position will be onsite at their office near Ontario. 

Key Responsibilities:

Process HR-related documents through payroll to maintain accurate records and proper deductionsProvide excellent customer service by responding to employee inquiries and requestsManage personnel records, including payroll, personal information, leaves, onboarding, and offboardingProcess payroll and employee benefits changes (bonuses, merit increases, salary adjustments, leaves, etc.)Accurately maintain employee profiles (new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, etc.)Monitor and implement applicable federal and state HR compliance requirementsReinforce company policies, rules, and procedures to ensure employee safetyProvide efficient problem-solving support to employees on HR-related issuesConduct and analyze exit interviews, providing actionable recommendationsCoordinate training sessions and team building events as neededAssist with employee compensation and performance management programsLiaise with other departments, such as Payroll, Finance, and OperationsSupport the termination process and performance review preparationPerform general clerical duties, including photocopying, mailing, scanning, and emailing documents

Qualifications:

2-3 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator roleStrong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulationsProficient in using HRIS software and Microsoft Office suiteExcellent communication and customer service skillsOrganized with attention to detail and the ability to multitaskProblem-solving skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approachBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
