Our client is a growth equity firm that partners with software companies to help them realize their full potential. They have helped many SaaS firms to scale rapidly.

We are looking for a high impact, experienced revenue operations leader with at least five years of operational experience across sales, marketing, customer success experience.


About you:

  • You will drive best practices across all of the firm’s deal sourcing channels (direct, banker/broker, partner)
  • You will own all systems and processes used for sourcing, managing, and reporting on the investment process
  • You will participate in strategic planning and review cycles
  • Analyzing operating data and providing feedback and recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our investment team


What you will do:


  • Partner with the Senior Investment and Associate teams to drive best practices and operational excellence across our direct origination program
  • Own, maintain, and optimize all internal systems and processes used for sourcing, managing, and reporting on the investment team workflow, including but not limited to Salesforce, Salesloft, SourceScrub, and Clay among other tools
  • Partner with other internal resources and third-parties to drive ongoing optimization of our CompassTM machine learning model and data warehouse in AWS
  • Support team members on internal initiatives, such as investor reporting and database management
  • Helping install forecasting processes to drive accuracy and predictability in the investment team pipeline
  • Supporting improved pipeline management practices and designing updates to CRM and sales acceleration tools
  • Conducting analyses to help find inefficiencies and recommend changes to our Associate outreach strategies and tactics
  • Conducting segmentation and account scoring analyses to help identify and prioritize target companies
  • Helping establish measurable KPIs to track the efficiency and effectiveness of our direct origination program
  • Partner with the Investment Team to drive our operating cadence of pipeline meetings and management, quarterly and mid-year reviews, and annual planning and goalsetting
  • Own and manage an annual budget for investment team technology and third-party resources (SFDC consultant, data scientists, etc.), along with all vendor relationships


What you will need:


  • Track record of success in delivering cross-functional revenue operations initiatives
  • Strong analytical skillset and experience leveraging data and systems to improve performance
  • Background working with PE/VC direct origination operations and/or growth stage software companies (ideally in the $5-100 million ARR range)
  • Previous experience working directly with sales, marketing, customer success leadership, or in a similar role at PE/VC firm with a direct origination model
  • Strategic thinker, hands-on, metrics driven, growth-oriented with a sense of urgency
  • Executive presence and ability to command respect while interacting with the Investment Team
  • Salesforce Administrator Certified
  • Familiarity with Python data science and visualization libraries
  • Fluent in SQL, Apex, SOQL
  • AWS SageMaker certified
  • Comfortable developing with REST and SOAP APIs
  • Understanding of production ready ML and AI models
