Responsibilities:

● Contribute to the strategic business development and marketing plans, including setting goals, creating action items, and establishing deadlines. Collaborate with partners, and the Business Development, Marketing, and Communications teams, as well as other internal stakeholders, to develop and execute these plans.

● Develop a strong knowledge of the practice's market position, key strengths, expertise in key industries, and client base.

● Draft and prepare written proposals, pitches, and other communications for clients, prospective clients, and related third-party organizations.

● Assist in drafting, editing, and tracking legal directory and awards submissions. ● Drive content-driven campaign strategies designed to generate new business opportunities.

● Collaborate with the global business development team on identifying and pursuing cross-selling initiatives.

● Support the practice's key client efforts and collaborate on best practices to ensure the development and growth of high-value services for key clients.

● Plan and oversee seminars, events, and other targeted marketing activities.

● Assist practice group leaders and the business development senior manager in managing relevant business development budgets.

● Collaborate with functional managers on relevant PR, communications, and digital marketing initiatives.

● Travel as needed to support initiatives and participate in activities.

● Lead additional related projects within the department or firm as assigned. Proficiencies:

● Knowledge of technologies, developments, trends, and literature related to legal and professional services marketing.

● Proficiency in MS Office Suite and document management systems.

● Fundamental knowledge of CRM systems.

● Proficiency in online research and the ability to analyze information to identify trends in key markets and related business growth opportunities.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including attention to detail and proofreading.

● Understanding of the needs and expectations of law firm operations and corporate legal clients to function at a strategic level.

● Advanced knowledge of marketing principles, procedures, concepts, and practical applications.

● Fundamental knowledge of networking and relationship management.

● Proficiency in team building, management, and leadership skills.

● Basic understanding of legal concepts.

● Ability to independently manage priorities and projects effectively.

Qualifications:

● BA/BS Degree (required).

● At least four (4) years of professional work experience supporting business development or marketing initiatives at a peer law firm ( MUST HAVE AMLAW 100 EXPERIENCE ).

● Experience supporting a Litigation Practice Group (preferred).
