Description

The Drake Hotel is looking for their next Steward Supervisor to join the culinary team.  The hotel, boasting 535 rooms, is situated on the Magnificent Mile and within the renowned Gold Coast district, known for its shopping, dining, and nightlife. Additionally, two Red Line subway stations are conveniently located within seven blocks of the hotel. 

The ideal candidate will hold comparable experience as a steward and have full availability to work the ever changing schedule of hospitality. This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to grow in their hospitality career.

Shift Pattern: PM shifts, starting at 4PM and finishing after midnight. availability for weekends and holidays is required. 

Pay Rate: $18.87 - $22.02 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Steward Supervisor, you would be responsible for supervising utility stewards, dishwashers and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Supervise, support and monitor utility stewards, dishwashers and temporary personnel to transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware for restaurant service Supervise cleaning of work area and physical surroundings Maintain and deliver proper inventory for food and beverage departments Ensure all food and equipment are delivered on time to all functions as specified Schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance Requirements
