The Operations Manager will work closely with the Research & Development Chef and Events Coordinator to ensure all events, off-sites, and special projects are executed to DHG standards from an Operations perspective. Actively work with the DHG Operations team to execute all projects and initiatives.
● Work closely with the Director of Operations new business and projects as they relate to DHG.
● Oversee operations logistics on business development and collaboration projects.
● Play an active role in all restaurant openings, including working closely with the DHG team to meet all opening needs, programming, physical set up needed, etc
● Provide lead on IT and Tech support, troubleshooting and management of IT contractors as necessary
● Actively coordinate and work closely with the DHG PR & Marketing team to oversee photo shoots, packaging and branding
● Work with the Marketing Team on website development and maintenance updates as necessary
● Work closely with the Events Coordinator on off-site and catering events. May be responsible for assisting in coordination and execution if needed. Assist with any logistics and communication with regards to event planning. Work closely with Front of House and Back of House Managers to properly communicate any needs, such as staffing, service, CGS, financial, etc.
● Schedule weekly Repairs & Maintenance walk throughs with the General Managers and CDC's to ensure each restaurant is in good working order.
● Ensure technicians are set up for repair or service all equipment within our restaurants & offices.
● Create and maintain SOP's for the operations of the restaurants in coordination with the restaurant managers and company directors.
● Work with DHG Management Team to innovate, research, and execute revenue-driving projects.
● Work with the Executive Chef and R&D Chef to help plan and build systems for any e-commerce and packaged food offerings.
● Assist with Inventory Management, storage unit and controls for dispersing and ordering
● Assist with all permitting and compliance procedures for the businesses including DOH, FDNY, DOB and other government agencies and keep the tracking spreadsheet updated
● Travel with the team via train, car or plane to off site destination event if required
● Must be able to drive a car, van or small truck in New York City & Long Island and the outer Boroughs
