Our local Richmond-based client is seeking a payroll specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate has some essential exposure to payroll and a passion for growing their expertisesolely handling a payroll process.

This position will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with processing the company's payroll on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for assisting in updating employee records
  • Maintaining of other pay-related files and other payroll-related duties
  • Pulling quarterly and year end reporting.
  • Process short and long term disability payments.
  • Being a point of contact for questions related to pay/benefits/ext.
  • Assisting with other related projects.

Qualified candidates need to have:

  • Payroll Experience is required, UKGis a big plus
  • 1-2years of experience or greater preferred
  • Excellent understanding of accounting
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
