Allwyn North America is headquartered in Chicago, and currently operates the Illinois Lottery under a private management agreement while seeking other opportunities throughout the U.S. We also provide products and services to lotteries and their players throughout Europe and the United States.
Position Overview:
The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of the retail sales strategy for growing business across multiple accounts. The role will plan and implement programs for specific accounts, by cultivating relationships and identifying opportunities. This is a key business development role with a focus on expansion and working cross-functionally.
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of business pertaining to specified key accounts, including sales metrics, performance data, reporting, and business reviews.
  • Organizing and managing all day-to-day activities, promotional calendars and cost-effective retailer programming for accounts. Reviewing Allwyn led strategies to grow the lottery category, ultimately increasing volume and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Retail Marketing to develop the yearly account planning process for the Key Account team, then execute annually.
  • Manage the budget for the Key Account Team consisting of approximately 70 Accounts throughout Illinois.
  • Manage flow of reporting internally and externally identifying white space opportunities and needed areas of improvement.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Key Account team and our agency partners.
  • Attend external conferences, tradeshows and events.
  • Oversee and develop direct reports.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required or 5+ years of sales experience required in a client-facing role in a consulting firm or an account/engagement management role.
  • Proven experience with a demonstration of territory management resulting in profitable volume, customer penetration, attainment of new customers, and growth preferably in a CPG or retail environment.
  • Proven track record securing new business and growing current key account sales.
  • Proven ability to manage retailer relationships at the local, regional, and national levels.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience dealing with multiple major retailers.
  • Proven understanding of retailer needs, business strategy and operations.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial and business performance providing insight and recommendations to customers and decision makers.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly and change tasks based on the needs of the company
  • This role requires regular travel throughout the State of Illinois.


Preferred:

  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated by previous experience utilizing systems for tracking and recording sales, effective business planning, category management, and data-driven strategy for maintaining current and securing new customers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrable strategic agility and ability to convert insight into strategies and plans for the channel, as well as executing those plans.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite of products.
