Verifies completeness of controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures, guidelines, and formats.
Revises procedures, guidelines, and controls as a result of changes in higher level procedures or as instructed by analyst(s) or comparable positions.
Prepares memoranda, preliminary reports, and charts showing findings and recommendations.

Citizen (Form FS-240)) Must successfully complete a background investigation, including a FBI criminal history record check (fingerprint check).
QualificationsFederal experience is not required.
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-06 level in the Federal Service.
Examples of specialized experience include performing technical work in support of management and/or program analysis functions which may have included identifying potential and actual problems and probable causes; researching specific issues; gathering pertinent statistics or information, reporting findings and recommending corrective action for the full scope of a program or function; monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating operations and interrelationships with other functions regarding workflow, work redundancy, or systemic problems; and utilizing database or spreadsheet software to enter, revise, manipulate, sort, calculate, store and retrieve data for use by others.
Candidates must meet the typing proficiency and office automation skills, as well as the experience and/or education required for this position.
Applicants must be a qualified typist with a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute (based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors).
EducationFor positions with an education requirement, or if you are qualifying for this position by substituting education or training for experience, submit a copy of your transcripts or equivalent.

A college or university degree generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.
S.
Department of Education.
Foreign Education:
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.
S.
education program.
