Overview:

Lilly is currently constructing an advanced manufacturing facility for production of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) molecules located in Lebanon, IN.  This facility is Lillyâs largest investment in manufacturing capacity and is intended to provide APIs for current and future products, including new modalities.  This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the startup team for a greenfield manufacturing site, and the successful candidate will help to build the processes and facility to enable a successful startup into GMP manufacturing operations.

Main Purpose and Objectives of Position:

Responsible for maintenance work execution through leadership of maintenance planning and scheduling team, Contract Maintenance project manager and computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) administration. Will assure a standardized, audit ready, CMMS and schedule and planned maintenance work log.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the safety culture and Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) compliance in daily work.Satisfy all administrative and supervisory requirements, including coaching, performance reviews, development, resourcing, and succession planning for assigned direct reports.Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Maximo system, and Maintenance SOPs.

CMMS:

Develop and deploy queries and reports that provide insight into asset reliability, cost of maintenance and compliance, in a format that supports continuous improvement initiatives.Be the LP1 site point of contact on CMMS for Global Maintenance & represent the site at global CMMS forums.Develop and deploy guidance documents, metrics, standards, SOPs and related training.Required to be able to influence others to ensure metrics are achieved and SOP requirements are being met.

Work Execution:

Develops best practices with Maintenance Planning team.Collaborate with production managers, reliability, and maintenance supervisor on the weekly top priority.Report weekly completion rates and weekly schedule adherence on a month to date basis.Ensure the maintenance functions are planned and scheduled in timely, proactive, compliant, and cost-effective manner.Partner with Area Changeover/Shutdown Coordinators to ensure maintenance inputs are provided in a timely and accurate manner to facilitate the master outage schedule.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelorâs degree in relevant field (preferably engineering) or 10+ years of relevant maintenance/engineering experience (CMRP or RMIC certifications preferred)5+ years of Engineering or Maintenance experience, preferably in a regulated environmentPrevious management or leadership experience including leading or working effectively with a cross functional group.Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP/MAXIMO) experience

Additional Preferences:

Strong technical aptitude and ability to train and mentor othersRecognized Maintenance/Reliability Industry Certifications â CMRP, CRL, CRE, RMICRelevant experience operating in an FDA regulated environmentExperience with TOAD Database Management ToolExperience with Planning and Scheduling/ Work Execution methods and strategies.Knowledge of Maintenance & Reliability Best Practices and Performance MetricsExperience scheduling and executing projects through contract labor.

Additional Information:

Tasks require entering manufacturing areas which require wearing appropriate PPE.May be required to provide support outside of normal working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
