Key Responsibilities- Drive Safety Culture and Compliance: Foster a culture of safety and ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) regulations in daily work.
- Deliver Maintenance Services: Provide maintenance assistance to process development, commissioning, qualification, validation, and start-up.
- Report and Track Key Metrics: Monitor and report key maintenance metrics, ensuring compliance with established Lilly standards.
- Ensure Timely and Cost-Effective Maintenance: Perform maintenance functions in a timely, proactive, compliant, and cost-effective manner, achieving departmental and customer objectives.
- Lead and Develop Direct Reports: Coach, develop, and lead direct reports, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with Maintenance Supervision, Reliability, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to establish alignment and awareness of the maintenance plan and work schedule.
- Meet Financial Objectives: Plan, direct, control, implement, evaluate, monitor, and forecast maintenance expenses to achieve expense budgets and capital plan targets.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferably engineering) or 10+ years of relevant maintenance/engineering experience.
- Engineering or Maintenance Experience: 5+ years of experience in engineering or maintenance, preferably in a regulated environment.
- Leadership Experience: Previous management or leadership experience, including leading or working effectively with a cross-functional group.
- Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Experience: Experience with CMMS systems, such as SAP/MAXIMO.
- Strong Technical Aptitude: Strong technical knowledge and ability to train and mentor others.
- Regulated Environment Experience: Relevant experience operating in an FDA-regulated environment.
- Instrument Calibration Process Knowledge: Knowledge of instrument calibration processes.
- Sustainable Team Culture: Ability to create a sustainable team culture focused on customer requirements, with a Safety First, Quality Always mindset.
- Maintenance/Reliability Industry Certifications: Recognized Maintenance/Reliability Industry Certifications, such as CMRP, CRL, CRE, or RMIC.
