Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a rotating on-call schedule for emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs on building exteriors, grounds, and mechanical systems.
  • Develop and manage schedules for routine maintenance, landscaping, and cleaning tasks.
  • Implement a proactive maintenance strategy to prevent issues.
  • Supervise contracted work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Prepare vacated apartments for new tenants.
  • Act as the emergency maintenance contact during scheduled on-call hours.
  • Manage the property budget and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of tools and equipment.
  • Participate in relevant industry meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years in general maintenance roles.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in a multi-family or institutional maintenance environment preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or college education is a plus.
  • EPA universal license for HVAC is required or must be obtained within 30 days.
  • Preferred certifications include CAMT, boiler license, CPO, electrical, plumbing, and first aid.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and major appliances.
  • Basic computer skills are preferred.
  • Experience with YARDI software is a plus.
Physical Requirements: This position requires physical activity, including standing, bending, lifting, and climbing.
