Job Description

Elmington Property Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the entire maintenance process for our properties.

We are looking for a skilled professional who can diagnose maintenance problems, perform service requests, and supervise the workflow for our service staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer service focused and able to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
  • Supervise the workflow for the service staff and delegate workload to staff.
  • Meet and exceed budget expectations for expenditures.
  • Order supplies, materials, and tools as needed.
  • Diagnose problems and repair major appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.
  • Address issues with landscaping and snow/ice removal.
  • Perform service requests correctly and promptly.
  • Operate computers and other technological devices to access company-utilized software.
  • Successfully execute Elmington's non-negotiables for service work orders and vacant turn times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of property maintenance and/or maintenance experience.
  • HVAC certification preferred.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the property.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools.
  • Building maintenance and repairs.
  • Responding to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
  • Accurately reporting all time worked.
  • Following all company policies and procedures.
