Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and complete reporting to the National Student Clearinghouse throughout each term and at the conclusion of each term. This position will collaborate with offices across campus and IT to ensure the creation of reports and processes that will facilitate those offices in monitoring their student populations and providing excellent customer service to our students. This position will assist with registration, orientation, degree audits, student records maintenance, enrollment/education certifications and special projects as assigned, especially outside of the peak periods of graduation auditing and certification.
Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration, and active support of the University’s Mission in Catholic and LaSallian higher education.
-Responsible for preparing ongoing Enrollment/Attendance, Degree and Graduation compliance reporting to the National Student Clearinghouse, State, and Federal Agencies
-Assist with NCAA Athletic compliance reporting including enrollment, sport eligibility, program completion and 100% and 150% athlete graduation rates reports
-Work with IT to develop, maintain, and analyze data reports related to student records
-Assist with accurate and timely processing of a variety of student records requests to help with the general workload in the office including lead for placement scores, program changes, and deferment forms
-Review completeness of new student records files from Admissions each semester
-Assist with graduation auditing and commencement related activities including assistance at each commencement ceremony
-Execute and monitor a variety of system processes related to student records and continually improve processes, workflows, and reporting to create more efficient systems and services
-Identify, report, and resolve technical issues within the Student Administrative Systems using appropriate protocols.
-Research and respond to NSC verification requests and further research as needed
-Troubleshoot and resolve student registration issues and student records questions
-Assist with registration and participate in new and transfer student orientations as requested
-Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve student records issues in collaboration with other offices on campus (i.e. Admissions, IT, Financial Aid, Business Office, helpdesk tickets, etc.)
-Evaluate and develop efficiencies in workflow and records processing, especially as related to the reporting and compliance processes
-Inform and advise students, faculty and staff on academic policies and procedures related to student records
-Enforce University and Office of the Registrar policies and procedures. Assist in training of other Office of the Registrar staff
-Manage no show reporting process and research complex attendance issues
-Comply with FERPA/ADA and other applicable laws pertaining to academic records
-Serve on University committees and/or task forces as assigned
-Assist in special projects and/or activities as needed
-Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree is required. Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing. Interest in working in a collaborative team environment. Candidates must also have a commitment to Catholic higher education and to the University’s LaSallian Mission.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a Registrar’s office or working in a Higher Education environment preferred. Working knowledge and experience with compliance reporting and data analysis.
