Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator at RJW Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of customer orders and providing exceptional administrative support to our Transport Operations Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Management: Enter customer orders, scan/index documents, and schedule pick-ups and deliveries to meet customer satisfaction expectations.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with customers regarding changes in pick-up and delivery schedules, and potential service failures.
  • Documentation: Properly document orders in our computer system and update customer contact information.
  • Reporting: Assist in updating reports as required by our Operations Manager and COO.
  • Additional Tasks: Assist the local dispatcher in updating Tee Cards and perform other tasks as assigned by your manager.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of clerical experience and basic transportation/logistics experience.
  • Skills: Basic office clerical skills, typing speed of at least 40 wpm, and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and application software used by RJW Logistics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Positive Telephone Personality: Possess a positive and assertive telephone demeanor.
  • Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess strong organizational and scheduling skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
