Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Permanent Electrical BIM Coordinator to join our growing team. This exciting role is at the intersection of digital engineering and construction industry, offering a unique opportunity to leave your mark on high-profile construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement BIM for electrical systems throughout the design and construction process.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand and execute the project-specific BIM plans.
- Manage and coordinate BIM technology and data to ensure project execution.
- Provide technical support for BIM software.
- Participate in project BIM meetings, providing updates and progress reports.
- Ensure the BIM model aligns with the project goals and specifications.
- Develop clash detection reports and coordinate resolution.
- Maintain high level of competency of software through continued use and training.
- Stay updated with current industry trends and BIM technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination, specifically in the electrical field.
- Proficiency in BIM software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Solibri.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems in construction projects.
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and building systems.
- Proficient in clash detection, model coordination, and problem solving.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Knowledge of industry standards and building codes.
- Familiarity with digital engineering and its application in the construction industry.
Jobot is a local, growing construction company that offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Electrical BIM Coordinator to join our team. We provide a collaborative work environment, company-paid benefits, and a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
