Universal Filmed Entertainment seeks a highly qualified candidate for the position of Vice President, Strategy and Business Development. This position will manage deal analysis activities across Universal Filmed Entertainment. Specific projects will include film greenlighting, research, analysis, modeling, and recommendations related to emerging industry trends, new business opportunities and existing businesses. The position offers unique exposure to a wide variety of businesses within the media and entertainment industry.

** Essential Responsibilities:**

Provide day to day support to Business Affairs team in deal negotiations via financial scenario analysis Lead junior resources in preparing film ultimate P&Ls related to film acquisitions, film financing, and production Analyze impact of distribution strategy (theatrical and non-theatrical) and windowing economics on film profitability Support the Chief Business Officer in developing and executing cross-portfolio initiatives and strategies across the NBCU Studio Group Work closely with groups across Universal Pictures throughout film greenlight process Formulate presentations for executive management on current UFEG and NBCU Studio Group initiatives Mentor junior team members and ensure that the team maintains highest quality deliverables



Qualifications:
Qualifications

Basic Requirements

2-3 years in a sales leadership/management role preferably in a SaaS related business

Proven ability to motivate, coach, and direct employees towards success

3+ years relevant sales experience and a solid history of significant success

Results-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to multi-task with consistent and timely follow-through

Desired Characteristics

College degree preferred

High Competency with Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, and/or other CMS + sales marketing tools

Success as a manager and operator within a set market relating to Saas and payments

Additional Requirements

Must be willing to work in our Minneapolis office

Willingness to travel and work on weekends with short notice

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
