We are hiring a Regional Healthcare Manager You are considered the healthcare business and clinical expert within a defined region. You are accountable for business development in the healthcare vertical to achieve revenue goals through our distribution network. You will stay abreast of healthcare trends and issues and identify opportunities to apply our research and insights for both administrative and clinical spaces. You will develop deep business relationships with dealers, healthcare clients and key influencers to secure product specifications and close profitable sales. You will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area covering an assigned larger geographic region, including the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento and Nevada (Las Vegas and Reno). Occasional travel to Las Vegas and Reno will be required.
What You Will Be Doing:
- The role will be focused on driving Steelcase Clinical product specifications and pull through healthcare VM orders through Steelcase dealers.
- Manage and deploy inventory of Steelcase Healthcare Product Samples to key influencers, end users and other stakeholders who help design, build and operate in healthcare environments.
- Connect our Steelcase Healthcare Research to our product development story and brand offering.
- Create product specifications and visuals with healthcare customers and A&D firms by focusing on specifiers of furniture and casework.
- Define existing and competitive accounts, in alignment with the sales region and dealer. A regular cadence will be established to share updates on Steelcase healthcare, deliver product samples for trial, assist with product support, and help with applications insight. Working to create a preference for Steelcase products.
- Define in alignment with the sales region and dealer, A&D specifiers of furniture, provide updates on Steelcase healthcare, deliver product samples for trial, assist with product support, and help with applications insight. Working to create Steelcase as the basis of design.
- Determine which dealer sales reps, healthcare designers and dealer leadership you will partner with to grow Steelcase healthcare sales in the defines sales territory. Develop those relationships.
- Responsible for managing company provided sales samples in sales territory.
- Leverage digital marketing tools and techniques to be visible and build relationship with contacts at accounts, design firms, and dealers.
- Develop pipeline 3X of established sales goals.
- Ability to work effectively in team based selling structure within a Steelcase Dealer ecosystem.
A critical component of this role is managing through distribution and longer, complex selling cycles. You will act as designated design, technical or clinical product expert as needed, and act as a coach/mentor for other team members and dealer sales professionals to ensure market/account plans are executed and business is secured.

Preferred Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate will have a consultative sales or design background in Healthcare and/or Interiors and a Bachelor’s degree.
In lieu of industry specific experience, will consider candidates who have a background in value-based or solution-based selling and demonstrate the necessary skills to achieve success.
