  • Must have experience or be a graduate of a certified dealing school.
  • Able to comprehend policies and procedures and carry them out as set forth in the Internal Controls and manuals.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Continued training sessions required. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises eight employees in the Table Games Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees;planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must have a Certified Dealing Certificate or successfully pass an audition on any one or more of the table games. Louisiana Gaming License, LACT and/or TIPS card required. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
