Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with senior management in the development, planning, and execution of annual business plans, short and long-term strategic plans, developing budgets, capital plans and performance goals and objectives for each department

  • Develop and deploy manufacturing processes that set industry benchmarks for lead-time, small lot sizes, and cost

  • Build and propose business plans for large-scale initiatives

  • Conceive, design, develop and deploy manufacturing processes and operations that support the timely launch of new products

  • Consistently assesses emerging trends in manufacturing, their impact on the operation, and develops mitigating or leapfrogging proposals

  • Manage material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce levels on hand

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies

  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

  • Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years' experience; or equivalent experience

  • Preferred experience leading teams in product design, manufacturing, and tool design

  • Uses lean principles to deliver a complete value stream look of projects with total expected and demonstrated lead time and all cycle times less than TAKT time

  • Manages direct staff, including attracting and developing talent to achieve strategic and tactical organizational needs

  • Advanced knowledge of scheduling, engineering, production, quality control, and shipping functions

  • Advanced knowledge of CNC programming, turning, milling, secondary processing, assembly, cleaning, blueprint interpretation, and GD&T

  • Budget development and management responsibilities

  • Required to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
