Job responsibilities
Support leadership team and communicate strategies and vision for clinical performance. Help, plan and organize the work unit’s activities/operations, the work plan, and the needs of the division to achieve the expected results. Liaison between the different teams in Clinical Operations. Identify and address gaps in communication from clinical staff. Responsible for coordinating with Clinical Study Managers i.e dry run and floor set up. Management of staff schedule to optimize project-related activities and other supportive tasks to help the project team. Involved on Study schedule skeleton, Activity grid, (eg: binders menu review) to provide feedback for operations on the floor. Identify training needs and execute individual/team plans. In collaboration with management, evaluate staff for coach/mentor readiness. Provide effective feedback and corrective action for training and activities Responsible for training staff on protocol, PSP, timelines, activities (eg: resting times, time between subjects etc.) Ensure compliance to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and GCP applicable regulatory guidelines and internal policies. (eg: Evaluate individual documentation skills and give remediation.) Assist operation managers in reviewing staff and study performance through onsite monitoring and support of clinical procedures. Collaborate with all teams for quality improvement. Provide guidance and support on clinical procedures. Improve efficiency, managing queries and clinical tasks in real time while project is in «On-Study» status. May be assigned other clinical tasks.
Qualifications

What we’re looking for

Position in Canada
College degree in life sciences, nursing, chemistry-biology etc. or an equivalent of 2 years’ experience Bachelor’s Degree in science.
Position in US
College degree in life sciences, nursing, chemistry-biology etc. or an equivalent of 2 years’ experience Relative alternate certification may be considered acceptable. This determination ensures the jobholder has sufficient technical ability to perform the role. Two years of relevant work experience will be considered an asset. Must demonstrate good computer skills especially in the utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel and Clinical software. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence convince, and persuade.
Position in Canada:
French/English level: Required bilingualism includes understanding various messages, exchanging verbally on subjects related to the tasks to be executed, and writing simple messages.
Position in US:
English/Spanish level: Required bilingualism includes understanding various messages, exchanging verbally on subjects related to the tasks to be executed, and writing simple messages. Other (optional): Candidate who does not possess the required training and/or experience may be considered under different criteria.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $55,800 to $108,600 USD/yr. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.

Additionally, certain local governments or Syneos Health customers may have vaccine requirements that apply to some of our employees.
