Compliance Testing Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a Compliance Testing Associate for a very important client.

Responsibilities:

• Perform gap assessments of existing compliance policies, processes, and controls to identify deficiencies and areas for improvement.

• Conduct design and operating effectiveness testing to assess compliance controls in accordance with established testing plans and procedures.

• Document testing results, observations, and recommendations with clear and concise detail to support conclusions and recommendations.

• Assist in the preparation of the final report to summarize test results, findings, and resolution plans for review by management and stakeholders.

• Monitor the progress of remediation activities and track status to ensure timely resolution of identified findings.

• Support the development and enhancement of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of the compliance obligation library and compliance testing repository.

• Assist in special projects, initiatives, and ad-hoc requests related to compliance risk management and testing as assigned by management.

Requirement:

Required Skills:

•Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Previous experience or coursework in compliance, risk management, internal audit, or a related field is preferred.

• Familiarity with industry standard compliance tools such as governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms are a plus.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable to the Federal Housing Finance Agency is desirable.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize task effectively to meet deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
