Position Overview:
You will be responsible for managing the overall operations of our high-quality early childhood education program including enhancing and implementing our award-winning Life Essentials® Curriculum, staff management, scheduling, hiring, enrollment, family relationships, and academy events.
Position Requirements:
- The ideal candidate should have education and experience in both business management and early childhood education
- Minimum Three (3) years of full time experience in center-based operations and program management
- Prior experience in opening a new center is a huge plus
- A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations for child care centers
- Comfortable managing budgets and labor costs
- Experience and knowledge of developmentally-appropriate practices, early childhood environments
- Strong team development, team management, and customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must meet state licensing requirements for Center Director
