**Position Overview:**
The General Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations of our agency, developing and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets, and managing a team of insurance sales professionals. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of insurance products and sales techniques.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Team Leadership:** Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Set clear goals, provide ongoing coaching, and evaluate performance to drive team success.
  • **Sales Strategy:** Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals. Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • **Customer Relationship Management:** Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • **Performance Tracking:** Monitor sales metrics and performance indicators. Prepare regular reports on sales activities, progress towards goals, and market conditions.
  • **Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer service. Collaborate on marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
  • **Compliance:** Ensure all sales practices adhere to Allstate's policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.

**Qualifications:**

  • **Experience:** Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the insurance industry. Demonstrated success in leading a sales team and achieving sales targets.
  • **Skills:** Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
  • **Knowledge:** In-depth understanding of insurance products and market dynamics. Familiarity with Allstate's products and services is a plus.
  • **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • **Certifications:** Relevant insurance licenses and certifications required.
