Our entire focus is on ensuring that our level and quality of play, our treatment of players, the quality of our event presentations, and our day-to-day fan experience is world-class and the very best offered in North America.  Job Description: The Orlando Valkyries, based in Orlando, Florida, is in need of your help Our professional volleyball team offers opportunities to current college-level students looking to gain real-world Media, PR & Communications experience, and position themselves for a career in the Sports Industry upon graduation.  Our emphasis is to provide practical experience, significant challenges, varying daily operational requirements, and opportunities for creativity, resourcefulness, and excellence. This internship is available for full-time or part-time candidates, eligible to work for college credit for the winter and spring internship season and the 2025 PVF season. Job Responsibilities: Media, PR & Communications Internship 
  • Writing various press releases, media alerts and game notes
  • Assisting with posts and fan engagement on all team social media platforms
  • Contributing to the 2024-25Media and Postseason Guides
  • Attending and running press box at home games
  • Fulfilling player appearance forms
  • Scheduling appearances of players, coaches, and team executives at all possible media outlets to help promote the team
  • Scheduling appearances of players, coaches, and team executives at all possible community events
  • Attending, setting up, breaking down and working community events in the market
