SUMMARY

ANSYS, Inc. seeks Application Engineer II SCBU to work in San Jose, CA

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the support of software products and supporting systems.
  • Will collaborate with a team of expert professionals to accomplish customer support objectives.
  • Develop competence in one or more products working independently.
  • Work on customer support tasks and be able to answer questions on tools functionality.
  • Triage complaints about product defects and root cause for R&D.
  • Write clear descriptions of product enhancement requests.
  • Work behind the scenes, be task-orientated and take direction from a mentor to assist with evaluations, benchmarks, or demos.
  • Develop the trust and respect of team members.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
  • Work experience or academic coursework must have included:
  • Experience with Asic design flow and Vlsi and digital circuits;
  • Experience with Analog/mixed-signal and custom designs; and
  • Knowledge of static timing analysis
  • Additional work location information: May permit telecommuting from home office within commuting distance to San Jose, CA office.

 

RATE OF PAY:   at or above $141,107 per year
