Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide primary support to Test Engineers in conducting package testing for clients.
2. Conduct complex client testing requiring a further understanding of testing standards defined by ISTA and ASTM standards, customer requirements, and Quality Management System.
3. Interpret data to recognize and identify deviations, provide client insight, and data interpretation for Tier One Clients or client-present testing.
4. Offer recommendations to customers on ways they can improve their packaging where there are failures during testing.
5. Serve as a subject matter expert for Transit Testing and MedLab Testing, supporting productions floor for engineers and technicians.
6. Designate as a trainer and coach, providing practical training to support proficiency development utilizing knowledge of ASTM, ISTA standards, customer protocols, and the QMS.
7. Ensure order accuracy and quality through document control, standard operating procedures, and auditing.
8. Monitor and provide responsive customer communication regarding testing services provided, updating customers on test status, updates, results explanation, and consultation for improvements and recommendations.
9. Interpret protocols to design special packaging projects and fixtures as needed to support client testing.
10. Maintain 5S and various site standards and expectations.

Requirements:
1. B.S. Degree in Engineering, Packaging, or Packaging emphasis, or equivalent technical education degree.
2. 3-5 years of previous work experience in packaging, product testing, or related industry is required.
3. 3-5 years of previous working laboratory experience preferred, ideally in conducting product/packaging testing.
4. Experienced with reading and interpreting documents such as protocols, industry specifications (ASTM, ISTA) and procedures.
5. Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and general computer literacy.

Advanced algebra, statistical analysis, and geometry
