Job Summary

Olympus Corporation of the Americas is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Engineer II to join our team. As a Technical Project Engineer II, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure that projects meet the required technical specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure that projects meet the required technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that projects are executed in accordance with these plans.
  • Coordinate and manage technical resources, including engineers, technicians, and contractors, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure that all technical projects are completed in accordance with Olympus' quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure that technical projects meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners, to ensure that technical projects are completed successfully.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues, and develop contingency plans to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure that all technical projects are documented and recorded in accordance with Olympus' documentation standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical project management or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills, including experience with project management tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate technical risks and issues.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
