What is the opportunity?

As a Junior Designer, you will create graphic designs, using a variety of techniques and software, for both print and electronic communications (e.g. promotions, advertisements, and instructional materials) distributed through a variety of media outlets.

What will you do?

  • Develops and delivers graphic design work and visual materials utilizing specific graphic design, web development, and animation/sound processing tools.

  • Interprets customers' design needs into feasible graphic design ideas and information; provides recommendations in the graphic design process.

  • Participates in the collection of customer needs for graphic design work and gives suggestions to senior management on the implementation of strategic plans for graphic design.

  • Researches and shares social media resources and information to facilitate the graphic design process within a team; stays abreast on technological advances within the field.

  • Collaborate with marketing partners to determine vision, strategy and requirements for visual elements.

  • Conceptualize and execute designs from start to finish for marketing deliverables outside of brand templates, such as events or specific campaigns.

  • Serve as design expert for the Seismic platform, supporting Creative Team knowledge and skill

  • Researches and shares social media resources and information to facilitate the graphic design process within a team; stays abreast on technological advances within the field.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design and/or 3+ years' experience working as a graphic designer

  • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office programs

  • Excellent typography and aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts

  • Excellent skills in animation design, motion graphics and video editing

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in the financial industry

  • A background working within a well-established brand platform

  • Experience working in Adobe Workfront

  • Proven experience with graphic design, with a strong portfolio of work
