Job Summary:

The Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine land boundaries, topographical features, and other relevant data needed for construction, land development, and environmental assessments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of surveying techniques and technology, possess excellent analytical skills, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct boundary surveys, topographical surveys, and construction staking.
- Prepare and maintain detailed survey records and reports.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to meet project requirements.
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment, such as GPS and total stations.
- Interpret and analyze survey data to provide accurate and reliable information.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Supervise field crews and provide training as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and budgets.
- Participate in client meetings and effectively communicate project progress.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in [State/Region] (or ability to obtain).
- years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on [specific types of surveys, e.g., boundary, topographic, or construction surveys].
- Proficiency in surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS).
