Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role the Commercial Sales Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the sales training curriculum for KRYSTEXXA in the United States

You will serve as the primary training lead for the KRYSTEXXA sales team and lead the development of product, disease state and any associated training needs. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, diligent, and self-motivated individual that excels in a fast-paced environment and is interested in joining a growing organization.

Success in this role will require strong cross-functional relationships, crucial communications, tactical plans supporting the brand strategy, and a dedication to an impactful Commercial Training and Development culture.

Content Development

Lead the design, development, and implementation of a training curriculum for KRYSTEXXA and the launch of any new indications for this teamPartner with internal team members to develop and maintain product and brand related sales training resources, workshops, and presentations to ensure content meets the needs of all partnersDesign and develop training content independently and with vendors2. FacilitationFacilitate virtual and live training for sales leaders, strategic account managers and thought leader liaisonsDevelop and facilitate Train the Trainer sessions with Sales Leaders, prior to National Meetings, POAs and launch meetings as well as lead the development process for these events.Manage all aspects of initial sales training, including content development, agenda management, stakeholder management, home study training and facilitating live classroom training3. Cross-functional PartnershipsApproach Partners business challenges collaboratively and consultatively to create the appropriate performance intervention(s)Build and maintain external strategic partnerships (e.g., Industry thought leaders, vendors, professional conference affiliations)4. Strategic Communications that Enable Business Unit Success Meet with Partners to establish a shared vision for the communication plan, including objectives, business goals, timing, and key metrics for successDraft communications on behalf of functional Director and solicit their feedback

5. Well-documented Approach to Achieve the Business Strategy, Supported by a Tactical Plan

Employ a performance consulting approach to identifying Partner training needs and opportunitiesDevelop, own, and iterate a well-thought-out training strategy and tactical plan for all training initiatives for which you are accountable

6. Target Internal Partners Equipped with Training and Tools to Support Commitment

Align with partners on training objectives, build content, leverage subject matter experts, and secure training resourcesDetermine sustainment path and pull-through opportunities

7. Sustainment of a High-Performing Commercial Training and Development Culture

Demonstrate strong peer-to-peer leadership, evidenced by trust, integrity, accountability, and the ability to influence without authority as well as soliciting and acting upon feedbackMake contributions to the team beyond function and invest in the development of others through active coachingWin

Doctorate degree or Masters degree and 2 years of sales/commercial leadership training experienceOr

Bachelors degree and 4 years of sales/commercial leadership training experienceOr

Associates degree and 8 years of sales/commercial leadership training experienceOr

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of sales/commercial leadership training experiencePreferred Qualifications:

Background in a related sales/commercial leadership training roleExperience working in the pharmaceutical industryAbility to identify commercial training needs, leadership development strategies and optimally addressing those needsDecision-making skills leading to successful outcomesStrong at strategy and planningAbility to collaborate and support cross-functional teamsStrong communication, leadership, and Interpersonal skills, along with superb written and verbal abilitiesExperience working within a matrix organizationProficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and other related project management toolsRequires approximately 30% travel to Deerfield, Illinois, including some overnight and weekend commitmentsExperience with rare disease -severe inflammatory disease, particularly in neurology strongly preferredThrive

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
