Job Description:





The Accounts Receivable Credit & Collections Rep II prepares statements, bills, and invoices; reconciles expenses to the general ledger, takes care of basic client inquiries and performs other clerical tasks related to maintaining the accounts receivable records while following standard procedures.



* Manage various customer Billing accounts – DSD (direct store delivery) * Monitors accounts for both Alta Dena and Triangle locations and notifies customers of any discrepancies * Prepares adjustments to invoices for rebates, pricing, and quantity discrepancies * Addresses customer deductions and brings resolution in a timely manner * Responds to and addresses basic customer inquiries * Reconciles assigned accounts and ensure customer payments are at terms in OTC system - DMS * Manage customer accounts through their website portals, monitor correct Purchase Orders, retrieve deduction records and payment remittance detail * Uses PC, calculator, and other standard office equipment for recording, storing, retrieving, and compiling information. Retrieving of POD, invoices from Route Settlement – ability to lift and move boxes up to 25lbs * Utilizes a continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes * Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area * Follows all required work-safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas * Performs other office / clerical duties as assigned







Qualifications/Requirements:



* High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum 2 years experience in Accounts Receivable * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) * Organized, time management skills and a strong attention to detail * Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written * Ability to multi task, adhere to deadines, adapt to changing situations, and demonstrate ability to work with a team environment * Ability to conduct basic accounting research to identify issues * Knowledge of transactional processes and systems * DMS (AS400) system application knowledge a plus
