Key Responsibilities:

The Flight Operations team includes aircraft pilots and pilot support staff. This position is essential for supporting administrative activities, managing policies and procedures, and being responsible for the documentation required for new instructor, evaluator, and line check pilot qualifications. The role involves close collaboration with the FAA to ensure successful processes and submissions of all required paperwork, effectively representing the department.

FAA Administrative Process Coordinator for Training Scheduling Department

·         Primary Liaison: The primary point of contact for all FAA administrative processes within the training scheduling department.

·         Training Documentation Management: Lead, coordinate, and meticulously track all required paperwork for student and instructor training and flying requirements.

·         Qualification Process Oversight: Manage the comprehensive process for all necessary FAA documentation, ensuring seamless qualifications for new instructors, evaluators, and LCPs (Line Check Pilots).

Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with key stakeholders across Flight Training and maintain effective communication with the FAA to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information regarding events and checks.

Policy and Procedure Administration: Administer policies and business procedures in strict compliance with company regulations, government mandates, and union agreements.

Qualification Process Oversight: Manage the comprehensive process for all necessary FAA documentation, ensuring seamless qualifications for new instructors, evaluators, and LCPs (Line Check Pilots).

Instructor and Evaluator Support: Work closely with instructors and evaluators to guarantee appropriate accommodations, promptly addressing vacation requests and other needs.

Cross-Departmental Assistance: Provide support to other areas of flight training and scheduling as needed to ensure the achievement of departmental and organizational goals.

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

·         High school diploma or equivalent work experience

·         2+ years of administrative/supervisory experience in an office or domicile environment

·         Microsoft Office Suite

·         Effective Time Management

·         High attention to detail

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

·         Bachelor's degree

·         2 years’ experience in Flight Operations training center, domicile, or headquarters environment

·         One year or more experience using Pilot Records

·         One year or more experience using FOX Training Scheduling Software

·         One year or more experience using DMS/DTS

·         One year or more experience using CCS/COSMOS/UCrew

·         Knowledge of the United Pilot Agreement

 

The salary for this position is $55,200 to $80,960, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule. Bonus eligible: yes
