Position Overview

The Novelis Gloabal Procurement CapEx team is looking for a Global Sourcing Analyst. The Global Sourcing Analyst will report to the Senior Manager Global Sourcing and is ideally located in Atlanta or Kennesaw, Georgia. The role is responsible for ensuring processes and policies are integrated across the company, building better tracking and reporting of the Procurement activities and KPIs, and will lead smaller CapEx projects. The Global Sourcing Analyst will ensure proper reporting of containment, maintain and improve Capex SharePoint site and Capex power BI, develop and maintain supplier data base, identify and analyze new suppliers, track market conditions, automate processes, create different reports.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve Capex data in SharePoint, including the Capex Project Tracker and all related documents needed for procurement activities.
  • Automate processes and reports in SharePoint using Microsoft Power including Power BI, create power automated flows and dashboards.
  • Support the Capex Team on sourcing activities.
  • Lead selected sourcing activities for strategic or large sustaining projects.
  • Support to continuously improve capex process and procurement forms (contract, T&C's, exhibits)
  • Ensure proper reporting of Capex containment.
  • Improve and maintain supplier data base, including new suppliers.
  • Search for potential suppliers based on request and collect information about these suppliers
  • Track global market indexes such as metal prices, global transportation, inflation.
  • Ensure capex spend is visible in Power BI and train capex team to use tool.
  • Collaborate with team members to use spend analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities, identify major risks, reduce administrative work and assist with implementing mitigation strategies.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years in financial reporting and/or procurement Microsoft Power SharePoint
  • Experience working in Microsoft Power Platform & SharePoint
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Solid communication skills
  • Basic SAP knowledge
  • Ability to influence others and drive results in highly matrix environment
  • Adept with Microsoft suite of applications
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage projects to efficiently and effectively deliver

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in a global company preferred
