As the Head of Demand Planning, Americas, you will lead On’s largest market in overall demand-planning strategy & execution. You will lead a team of 5 Demand Planners working to accurately plan regional demand across On’s entire assortment range. You will drive the implementation of meaningful improvements that drive forecasting accuracy, leading to a better demand-supply match for our customers. You will be responsible for driving the standard operating procedures that support the strategic growth targets for On’s Long Range Plan to ensure we deliver a premium customer experience for all internal & external customers while championing the On culture.

Your mission

– Lead and develop high-performing teams to achieve expansion in On’s largest geographic market, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

– Generate precise demand plans for the Americas region, ensuring the right supply is brought into the area, serving as the authoritative voice for any regional supply chain planning topics

– Oversee all demand planning initiatives for the Americas region, focusing on enhancing forecasting accuracy and inventory efficiency, and drive the regional consensus demand plan by hosting monthly demand review meetings

– Ensure demand forecasts are based on current and accurate information, aligning lead times, inventory days, liquidation plans, and inventory aging through a collaborative, consensus-driven approach with stakeholders

– Support the development of supply planning and inventory strategies for existing items, new products, and product phase-outs

Your story

– 8+ years of experience in demand or supply planning for a global sportswear or fashion brand

– 3+ years of experience leading high-performing teams

– Experience with forecasting, demand planning, supply planning, purchasing/sourcing, warehousing/inventory management, transportation, and distribution for a global consumer goods brand

– Experience in operating through Integrated Business Planning and S&OP
