The statements listed below are not intended to be all inclusive of the duties and responsibilities of the position. Based on leadership decisions and business needs, "all other duties as assigned" will be expected for each position.

Complete an extensive Medical Health Questionnaire (MHQ) and exposure form via telephone interview with members within the identified case management supported program. Electronically submit interview information through an internal database system to generate a summary for the members monitoring exam.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete extensive Medical Health Questionnaire (MHQ) and Exposure form via telephone interview
  • Triage incoming calls
  • Acknowledges member's rights on confidentiality issues, maintains patient confidentiality at all times, and follows HIPAA guidelines and regulations
  • Complete daily department tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Vocational or Technical Training/Education (Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, etc.) or Clinical Upskilling course
  • Equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered
  • 2+ years' experience in a customer service environment
  • Proven experience with medical terminology or completion of medical terminology course
  • Proven solid organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Proven excellent written and verbal communication, telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Career Readiness Certificate
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of CPT and ICD coding
