About the Role

Your Responsibilities

Diagnose issues and debug automotive radar.  
Responsible for the analysis of warranty and other failure returns for Magna Electronics automotive radar sensors. The scope of the work includes analog, digital, or RF circuits analysis, identification of component failures, evaluation of radar performance issues, and capturing of all related data into Magna Electronics Analysis database.  Perform analysis and experiments to determine cause of and identify defects.
•    Debug warranty returns of automotive radar 
•    Work with software engineering to develop specific feature tests.
•    Work with supplier quality to develop corrective actions from suppliers
•    Participate in 8D reporting to automotive customers.
•    Documentation of all aspects of each specific analysis.
•    Assist in yield analysis 
•    Coordinate technical discussions with peers and Technical Specialists.

Who we are looking for

•    BSEE or Equivalent.
•    Demonstrated skills in digital and analog circuits, effective communication with experts in these fields.
•    Experience with lab equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, source meters, curve tracers, digital imaging station, and J-Tag emulators
•    Knowledge of FPGA’s, DSP’s, ARM, EMC, FMEA, video signal processing, python or other scripting languages a plus.
•    Experience with 8D, 5Y, Fault Tree, or similar reporting a plus
•    Good written and verbal communication skills required and ability to work in a team environment
