ePropelled is the leader in magnetic engineering innovations that dramatically improve electric motor and generator efficiency for propulsion applications such as aviation, aerospace, pump motors, and electric vehicles applications.

We are seeking a responsible Sales Manager to lead an inside sales team by supporting project fulfillment, monitoring the competitive landscape, and analyzing overall performance metrics with sales data. The sales manager is responsible for a variety of tasks and play a critical role in the success and development of their team

Responsibilities

  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned responsibility
  • Recruit, hire, and train sales team
  • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed
  • Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
  • Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team members
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed
  • Work closely with the marketing department to identify new customers the sales team can target based on the landscape

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven sales manager experience
  • Ability to build and implement a sales plan
  • Proven ability to lead a team
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding quota by monitoring progress
  • Ability to develop budgets
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Proficient with corporate web presentation tools (Microsoft Office)
  • Deep experience working with Salesforce, Hubspot, or similar CRM with best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales
