Position may telecommute / work remotely 2 days per week.Your ResponsibilitiesJob Duties: Responsible for providing technical insights to the radar signal processing team for the design, development, verification, and testing of automotive radar embedded signal processing algorithms for active safety products. Identify system concepts and algorithms that form the foundation for the next generation of radar products. Design and write simulations for cutting-edge radar signal processing algorithms in Matlab. Create presentations and document algorithms for sharing concepts with the team. Exhibit a detailed knowledge of radar system fundamentals and waveform processing. Possess strong fundamentals in radar waveforms, detection link budget analysis, processing and tracking algorithms. Implement detection level and/or tracker algorithms using Matlab and/or C. Perform analysis on regression data to debug and optimize system detection and/or tracking performance. Support software development team for adapting algorithms to operate efficiently on fixed and/or floating-point DSPs. Ensure requirement compliance and timeliness for radar platform development efforts. Process improvement participation which includes definition and execution of improvement projects which meet or exceed compliance with overall organizational objectives.Who we are looking forRequirements: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field. Plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year in a related occupation including Hardware Engineer, Research Associate, or related experience.
