The Sales and Catering Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of group sales and catering events at Hotel Indigo. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Responding to inquiries and requests for proposals (RFPs) in a timely and professional manner
  • Conducting site visits and providing tours of the hotel and event spaces
  • Creating and distributing contracts and event orders
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure successful execution of events, including food and beverage, audio/visual, and housekeeping
  • Managing room blocks and group reservations
  • Assisting with billing and collections
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients and guests

    The Sales and Catering Coordinator must have excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. They must also have a strong knowledge of sales and catering processes and procedures, as well as experience with event planning software and Microsoft Office.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and catering, preferably in a hotel setting
    • Strong knowledge of sales and catering processes and procedures
    • Experience with event planning software and Microsoft Office
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Exceptional customer service skills
